the last Star Wars Entry (for now)
This is last of my Star Wars video clips. This all started with Cha Cha asking for something funny. He loves Star Wars, and I hoped that he would find THESE to be funny.
Also finished a “VERY rough draft” of a screenplay I have been building in my head for the last 6 months or so. It a horror short, I’m very happy with the story, just not the dialogue. Hoping to shoot it in the fall.

Echo of Darko
As I was listening to Eco & the Bunnymen (see LINKS, Pastors Pants) I was reminded of Donnie Darko. The first 80’s song in Donnie Darko is “The Killing Moon” by Bunnymen. This is one of my all time favorite films outside of my top three Directors, (Lynch, Kubrick, & Hitchcock). Anyone who has not seen this film should pick it up immediately!
Grocery Store Wars
Here is another Star Wars spoof just for Cha Cha. While it is unfortunately educational, it is still funny and well done. |

Bono Bush
I love the band U2, they are one of my favorite bands of my generation. So here is George Bushy re-cut to sing Sunday Bloody Sunday. (Whoever put this together had a lot of time on their hands) |
10 Things I Hate About the Commandments
I LOVE re-cut movie trailers. It is usually a scary movie made to look like a love story, or a family comedy made to look like a horror film and so on. THIS one is one of my very favorites. |

Motorcycle boogie
So I’m looking for some motorcycle videos for my work blog, and I came across this little gem that I feel transcends “motorcycle” and is just plain funny. |

Todays Self Portrait
Chainsaw Massacre (fixed)
Now I know this is wrong, but I like these parents. They are teaching their kids a vauble lessen. Its just like the old saying goes: Dont watch a scary movie, if it will make you sleep in the same bed as your brother, with the lights on and then get the poop scared out of you by your dad while your mom films it for the internet Thats a saying, right? |

A Self Portrait
I like long exposures, and the orange of indoor light.
This morning I was walking outside. Before I knew it I was walking through a spider web. As I turned I saw the spider in the web and the web bent around my back. Now I don’t know for sure, but that spider was on my back and he/she crawled up into my hair and if it’s a she, I’m sure she is laying eggs in my head as I write this. I don’t much like spiders.

Hole in the trees (and my head)
Surprising Weather
Maybe I’m the only one, but I didn’t hear much about “the Weather Man” when it was out in theaters. I saw a few trailers but never heard Weather it was any good or not. Well I loved it. One of the best “surprise” movies in a while. Well written with GREAT dialogue. I found it well directed, especially being such a character piece with no real “action” to fall back on, since it was directed by the director of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. I also found, as an editor myself, the editing was especially good, with constant flashbacks in the middle of scenes that work seamlessly without any confusion. Nicolas Cage is great in what I think is his most believable rolls to date. Check out Nicolas Cage in “The Weather Man”
